Silvia and I led a group of BA Drawing students in a crit at their interim show. The experience was very engaging and interesting. Fun to analyse and figure out what the students’ work was about and then ask them questions to help them move forward. Interesting to see the different emotions and reactions to the suggestions. Which student’s wanted to move forward and which were still stuck in what they were doing. Which students trusted and which students argued. Which students couldn’t finish work because of their fear of failure. All part of the learning process.
